International Marketing of Products & Services

With increasing competition, the expansion of markets beyond national boundaries has become a fact of life for most manufacturing and many service industries. Identifying markets in foreign countries such as China and India with populations of over one billion in each and establishing appropriate marketing linkages is a valuable strength that RAM offers its clients. Both these countries are vast markets that need new technology, products and services that offer viable opportunities that out pace the competition at home. India for instance has a “middle class” population now exceeding 250 million, boasting both a technologically competent work force as well as a product–hungry consumer market place. China’s position as a global manufacturer is now undisputed. In addition, RAM has acted as purchasing consultant for Indian industry to arrange electronic equipment from USA suppliers for the Indian Defense Industry.

Turn Around Management

RAM Principals have successfully engaged in several turn around situations. For instance, B.C. Dash successfully turned around a printed circuit board company Ionic Inc of Elk Grove Village, IL in six months and repositioned it with lucrative outcomes for the owners.

Joint Venture Consulting

RAM International Inc was successful in identifying and consummating a joint venture manufacturing arrangement for PESCO, a Virginia based manufacturer of recovery plants fabricated in stainless steel to process chemicals, solvents and used engine oil, with partners in India. Another joint venture called VEDCO LLC was established in Roanoke, Virginia together with PESCO. This was successful enough to lead to another similar solvent recovery joint venture, ECP LLC in Eden, NC where VEDCO took charge of operations with a 50% ownership position.
